BUILDING PERMIT TRACKING

Since 1996, Catawba Regional has been collecting and summarizing the building permits issued in the region.  The Building Permit Tracking System provides local governments, businesses, and the media with a convenient way of analyzing growth trends through the construction of housing.  The quarterly reports issued provide a glimpse of the most rapidly growing areas of the region.  The building permit data contained in these reports is supplied by local building and planning officials.  Catawba Regional collects this data by county, municipality, and census tract for all the major residential catagories, as well as, commercial and industrial.  To recieve a report, or if you have any questions about these reports or our permit database in general, please contact Mike Vead at (803) 327-9041.
