The Catawba Regional Workforce Housing Study for Chester, Lancaster, Union, and York Counties provides specific data and analysis on workforce housing conditions, needs, and opportunities across the Catawba Regional Council of Governments (CRCOG) region. The findings are intended to support local governments, employers, housing providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders as they consider strategies to expand housing options for the region’s workforce.
Study findings were presented to each County Council, CRCOG Board members, representatives of local municipalities, and other stakeholders upon issuance of the study. These presentations provided an opportunity for community leaders to review local data and discuss shared challenges. CRCOG thanks the many community partners and stakeholders who contributed their time, expertise, and perspective throughout this process. Their dedication was essential to completing this important work.
